Registration Procedure Downloading and installing SAT Version 5 (along with the free seasons) will enable you to evaluate the game for 3 days. At the end of this period, you will not be able to run the program unless you purchase the game and then request a registration ID. The three day evaluation period starts from the moment you install the game. Registration IDs are only provided to purchasers of the game. |

2007 Pro AND College Seasons are Here You MUST update to SAT V513 before installing 2007 When you run the install file, the season will be saved in the \master (or \masterC) directory. You should then open SAT and use Season Tools->Restore Master Season from the main screen. 990+ Great (and not so great) College Teams (List of Teams by college – pdf file) (List of Teams by year – pdf file) When you run the install file, a set of 9 directories will be created in \NewSeasonsC and the teams automatically installed in their correct directory. Users who previously downloaded user-created teams may delete the entire contents of their \NewSeasonsC\Teams directory following successful install - The new download contains some updated team files. You cal also (if you wish) delete the decade tournament seasons using SAT's Delete Season option as all these teams are also included in the new download. These teams will not appear as a normal season. Instead they will be available when you create a regular or post-season, a tournament or an exhibition game. |

Vista users should ensure they install ALL SAT programs as administrator (including season files and any user-created files), and also run the main program in administrator mode.
There are three possible scenarios when deciding which files you need to download:

Ensure that for all seasons you have completed any saved games and completed any real-time-scoring games.
In this case you simply need to download the following file to a temporary directory and run to install. You should install the file into the same directory as your current V5 installation (by default c:\program files\second and ten v4.

Since this process will be updating your current installation, please ensure that you have backed up any critical files (including any completed or in progress seasons which you do not want to lose). Also ensure that for all seasons you have completed any saved games and completed any real-time-scoring games.
In this case you simply need to download the following files to a temporary directory and run to install. You should install the file into the same directory as your current V4 installation (by default c:\program files\second and ten v4.

In this case you simply need to download the following files to a temporary directory and run to install. We recommend that you use the default c:\program files\second and ten v4 directory for the installation as all the user-created mods will automatically install into this directory.
SATV5Install.exe (version 5.1.4)
SATV5Sounds.exe - This is an optional file which provides sound effects for the program during a game.
You also need the seasons download (below)

This assumes you already have a working copy of Second and Ten Pro on your PC. The encyclopedia must be installed to the same directory as SAT Pro.
The encyclopedia is not free. To register, you will need to purchase from the Purchase page. Cost is GBP 10, approx $20.

There are two possible scenarios when deciding which files you need to download:
I have Second and Ten Version 4 installed on my PC
As part of the version 5 development, we made some changes to certain seasons, whether to correct previously identified errors, or to improve aspects of their accuracy. Since current owners will already have a set of seasons on their PC and probably completed or in-progress seasons, the following procedure should be used to update your pro seasons.
1. Download and install the file ProMaster.exe to your installation directory.
2. Open SAT V5 and on the main screen go to the menu option Season Tools->Update With Master Seasons. SAT will automatically highlight all stock seasons which have not yet started and prompt you to click update. This will automatically update all those seasons. You have the option to deselect seasons if you do not want them to be over-written, even if they are un-started.
I do NOT have Second and Ten Version 4 installed on my PC
Simply download and install ProSeasons.exe into your installation directory. This will give you access to all 66 free pro seasons.
You can optionally download and install the file ProMaster.exe to your installation directory. This consists of a set of zipped backup files. If you ever need to restore a season to its original state, then using the Season Tools->Restore Master Season option from within SAT will achieve this, without requiring you to over-write all the seasons.

2004 to 2006 are available both as a single season file, and as a set of separate conference files. If you have purchased the college version or want to evaluate this version then you will need to download and install one or more of these files. Previous purchasers of version 1.1.6 will also need to re-download since these files have been created in version 5 format.

2004 Season Fix (version 5.0.7)
There was an issue with 2004 Miami Fla. This affected the full 2004 season as well as the ACC, CUSA and WAC conferences. The main seasons files above have been amended to reflect this fix. This file will update your MasterC directory with the 4 correct files. You can then do a Restore Master to update your SAT seasons. Updating WILL cause all your results to be lost.
You can also optionally download and install the file CollegeMaster.exe which will work in the same way as the Pro Master seasons file.

Cheer + Ref Images -> Version 5 Ref Pack
Logos + Helmets -> Pro Helmet and Logo Pack / Razor's Collegiate Logo Pack
Real Stats -> Real stats for the various seasons are slowly being produced. These allow direct comparison on the SAT statistic screens.
Field Images -> Andy's excellent pro fields
Background Images -> Andy's field image pack
You will probably want to download more than these, but we feel the above files add greatly to the SAT experience. It is actually difficult to only pick out a few 'must haves' from the collection available.
